In Firex we have studied and tested pressure cooking systems, capable of reducing costs and increasing the return on investment.
Pressure cooking is the process of cooking food, using water or other water based, in a sealed vessel, known as a pressure cooker.
Pressure cookers are used for cooking food faster than conventional cooking methods, which also saves energy. Pressure is created initially by boiling a liquid such as water or broth inside the closed pressure cooker. The trapped steam increases the internal pressure and temperature. After use, the pressure is slowly released so that the vessel can be safely opened.
How to reduce cost and to increase ROI
Firex pressure cooking systems guarantee a significant increase in performace, as happened to one of our customers, who switch from a line of 5 traditional pans to one of 3 pressure cookers, kept the productivity level of his kitchen:
Processing return
- Up to 30% increase compared with traditional cooking methods, the loss of water by evaporation is largely avoided while using the Firex pressure cooking system.
- – 62% annual costs savings (energy, maintenance) compared to traditional pans to obtain equal production.
- – 27% installation costs savings (machine cost + connection costs, space etc) compared to traditional pans to get equal production.
- Up to 70% energy savings compared to an array of traditional cookers to obtain equal production..
Greater comfort in the work environment
There is no evaporation of the product in the kitchen during pressure cooking, no dispersion of heat, a quite atmosphere . Everything leads to a healthier work environment.
Easy to clean
Following the pressure cooking cycle and emptying the contents. You will be very quickly made aware of how clean the cooker still is. A quick rinse and your ready to begin the next batch.
Better quality of the finished product
The aromas remain imprisoned encapsulated in the pan during cooking, these are not dispersed in the environment but they remain in the finished product.
Cooking with safety and uniformity
Working with pressure means working in safety: a series of electronic and mechanical controls guarantees the absolute protection of its operators and the surrounding environment. An automatic system hermetically seals the cooking vessel, but only when it detects the absence of residual air. A perfect pressure cooker can only function correctly if the vessel is saturated with steam: in this way the temperature will be uniform and above 100°C. When cooking has concluded, in Firex system restores the environmental pressure through a rapid condensation process. The FTC board signals the possibility of opening the lid, only when it’s safe to do so.
One product, endless advantages.
Pressure and timings
With pressure cooking it’s possible to achieve a significant reduction in cooking times this can be as much as 70% less, compared to that of traditional cooking.
Speed and nutrients
The graph illustrates conventional cooking times with Pressure cooking times. While reaching 110 Degrees C in the pressure vessel. Cooking times are reduced by approximately 4 times. With this speed it’s possible to retain all nutrients in the finished product.
