My name is Luigi Biasetto and I am the owner of Atelier Biasetto srl in Padua. The Atelier was founded with the aim of transforming what was a family pastry lab into a true artisan enterprise. And it is right there that we make every day our distinctive Biasetto sweet and savoury treats: small mouth-watering pastry masterpieces created by the hands of an artisan, master at understanding and enhancing the flavours and qualities of raw materials.
The Atelier is divided into six completely indipendent production departments, where manual work is perfectly complemented by the use of highly sofisticated equipment and machinery to make fresh pastries of the highest quality.
What we produce: 1 million macarons and 750.000 small cakes per year. What we use: about 33.000 eggs per week. Production department accounts for 1.200 sqm (1.600 including the warehouse) and 35 employees. 30 % of production caters for the needs of the local market, 50 % for the national market and the remaining 20 % focuses on export.
