My name is Marina Brugaro. Proprietor of “ MARINA BRUGNARO S.L.R. Food Company. Situated in the province of Padua.
The origins of the company date back to 1954, where the family butchery in the province of Padua was formed, although run by both my parents. It was my Mother “ Irma” who was the driving force. Her ideas and innovations using typical Venetian dishes enriched the shop and what it had to offer.
Since then the company, remaining faithful to traditions has distinguished itself by using only the best raw materials and craftsmanship in its pursuit of excellence. The variety ranges from Cod to Shanks, Tripe to Duck, and of course Grandmother’s special herb mixes with much much more. Even with 30 employees the preferred title “Artisan Gastronomy” assures customers of a genuine product keeping the tradition of the Veneto region alive. While seeking new recipe ideas, we always adhere to customer’s requests and market needs.
We take care of the processing, packaging and delivery to customers of readymade meals. 70% of the production is absorbed by large-scale distribution. The remainder goes to satisfy the requests of wholesalers, restaurateurs and a local market, also through our retail store. In addition, at certain times of the year, a substantial demand comes from fairs and village festivals, as well as from private lunches, which we supply thanks to our catering service.
The Store, which has now been completely renovated and expanded to accommodate the growing demand, is still in its original position at the centre of Town, now some 70 years on. While production is situated in the Artisan area. By the year 2020 a 4000 m2 state of the art production plant will be inaugurated, using the most innovative techniques in both the production line and administration.

We follow the entire production process very carefully daily. From a selection of quality raw materials to the creation of the finished product and its delivery. Our goal remains the same.

Even though our production has increased considerably over time. We have had to seek out partners, but they too must be capable of guaranteeing the high quality and standards we have set for ourselves.
