NanoLabo is an artisanal pastry and micro ice cream workshop located in the province of Treviso. The owners Elena and Alessandro are two talented pastry chefs who met at the prestigious Cast Alimenti pastry school: at the time Elena was studying haute patisserie, while Alessandro worked as a scholarship student. After leving Cast Alimenti, Elena and Alessandro gained various experiences, both together and separately, in Italy and abroad, with Iginio Massari, Stefano Zizzola, Simone De Feo… until they launched their project NanoLabo.
Elena: “The name literally comes from a garden gnome (“nano”), that Alessandro gifted me and that I now take with me everywhere. Now it’s a bit damaged, but we decided to name our laboratory after it, hence ‘labo“.

The Challenge for NanoLabo
Running an artisanal laboratory requires a great commitment, especially when there are only two people taking care of everything. The main challenge for Elena and Alessandro was being able to optimize the production times without affecting the quality of their products. Cucimix by Firex was the solution: they have now increased their productivity while saving precious time.
