My name is Bülent Karakaya and I am the owner of Pelin Catering Services. I am 39 years old and I have been working in the food service industry for 30 years, that is basically my whole life.
When I was a child, while my friends were playing outside, I enjoyed peeling potatoes and onions in the kitchen. Although I studied Maths, cooking has always been a great passion of mine, a family activity that we still bring forward to this day.

Our company was founded in 1985 and it operates in the food service sector. Starting from a small kitchen, we gradually grew over the years and reached our current corporate structure in 1996.
Today, we have a 3,000-square-meter kitchen, with 500 employees, and we provide daily corporate catering services to 20,000 employees for our national and international clients.
What makes us stand out in the industry is our ability to offer the taste of homemade meals, combining advanced technology with traditional recipes and cooking methods.


In a few months, the construction of our new kitchen will begin and this represents one of the largest investments in the foodservice sector in Turkey.
This new facility, which will cover 30,000 square meters, will be equipped with the most advanced equipment and will be able to self-produce its own electricity.
The challenge for Pelin
Before choosing high-end technologies, we often faced problems related to human errors and equipment failures.
We conducted thorough research to find equipment that best met our needs in terms of capacity and functionality until we came to the conclusion that Firex was the ideal choice for us.
